ABS plumbing problem

Here in Michigan they dont use and very rarely can you find ABS plumbing. Unfortunately they often used it in the late 70s and early 80s. The house Im working on has ABS. I have a FlowFX drain, made for ABS, that I am using and as the directions said i should just cut the old plumbing flush with the subfloor and that cut would leave you where you need to be. I cut the old ABS drain plumbing at the subfloor and when I was laying it out for the dry pack I realized the dry pack would only have 3/4" at the drain and it calls for 1 1/2" minimum. That being said I cant find any coupling that will work to give me the extra length I need to lift the drain up to the height I need it.

I could do one of three things

1. I could just ignore what the dry pack calls for and just leave it at 3/4" (granted I am using 3/8" marble which is not the hardest tile) 2. Keep looking for an ABS coupling to extend the cut that was made ( I would hope to find a piece to fit inside the 2" and then a 2" to go over it that way it wont hold the drain higher than I want it 3. Tear up the floor and Fernco PVC to the ABS and yes I also have a PVC compatible FlowFX drain. At this point im so far behind this seems like the best bet.

I'm hoping one of you knows the part I'm looking for and where to get it or The Tile Coach would read this and assure me that 3/4" is plenty of dry pack. Thanks Kyle

Please disregard the last question. I figured out how to get 1" in total at the very thinnest part of the drypack. That makes me much more comfortable than going just the minimum. Thanks for being their for the new guys and just wanted to say I appreciate you.
