Mud pan over plywood floor?
Hey fellow tilers , I've been doing showers for a little while now , around 15 -20 showers . All on concrete floor , now I'm on a 1962 shower renovation, so what is the proper way to prep plywood floor for dry pack mud pan ? Plastic vapor barrier, metal lathe and mud over that ,? I'm doing bonding flange with liquid hydroban as waterproofing possibly a sgeet membrane over pan

No. Cleavage membrane, then lath, then deck mud, then sheet membrane, then hydro ban if necessary.
