Tile layout
From the right wall to the inside edge of the niche is 15 1/4". From the left wall it is 15 3/4", will this cause a layout issue?
Also leaving a full tile (12×24) on the top row will leave a 5 3/4" tile for the first row, is that acceptable?

I like symmetry. It makes it look professional. How about adding a piece of 1\2" foam board to the left side of the niche to even it out?
