When to caulk?
I'm slowly closing in on my shower project and will be ready to grout in a day or two. That got me to thinking about caulking the corners. Do you caulk before you grout or after? I was thinking it was after, but thinking again it almost seems like it should go on before, so that the grout doesn't get in those areas where you want the silicone caulk?

I've done both ways , one thing to consider is if you're gonna go with the water soap spray and popsicle stick technique to smooth out the silicone , the soap water will sometimes stain the grout with a white residue after it dries , so then it's better to silicone first before grout . But if you're not using that technique then it works fine to grout first , I usually go with the latter , but not many benefits from one to the other . Just what I've experienced.
