Decoupling membrane over concrete?
Owner/builder installing 12 x 24" tile floor into a curbless shower in a small bathroom on a concrete slab. There is one existing crack in the floor. Do I need to use an uncoupling (decoupling?) membrane? If so what is the least expensive and thinnest method? It seems like the Schluter and Laticrete membranes are overly thick and expensive. Thanks
