be advised the redi- sealant in the tile redi system does not adhere well to laticrete 254, I put the sealant on probably to thick around my niches and questioned it to the company and they suggested I peel it back between the niches. On the non-rabbited joints it squeezed out a bit more. I watched lots of videos on this stuff then and when I applied it to the non- niche areas I noticed it just slid right through the notch. I’ll be peeling it back between my niches and on the flange never knew this detail but since I’ll be putting a single tile between the niches I’ll have nothing for it to adhere to except sealant. This really should be emphasized more when learning about the product. Maybe I’m overthinking and over exaggerating and would love to hear others experience and if they’ve had any failures
