Hey everyone, first time poster here. I have done a couple floors, walls and backsplashes with different size tiles and have been lucky enough to end up with larger than half a tile at the termination points. This shower floor is not looking this way. It's 59.5" by 28.5", three sided with curb parallel to the 59.5" wall. I'm using a Flo FX drain (bought from Issac, gotta support him for all the effort he does to help us DIYers) and using 2"x 2" squares for this floor. When I lay the sheets so that there are full tiles around the marks for the 4" drain grate, all is good to the curb, 59.5" wall and the 28.5" wall opposite from the shower head wall. That wall ends up with a 1" gap and after accounting for expansion gap and the wall tile and thinset thickness overhanging this course, it will be a sliver. My question is should I trim the next two courses by 1/4" to make a better size transition? This would make these three courses go 1.75", 1.5" and the last one at the wall around 1". Or should I just trim the second to last course by .5" and be happy? Thanks for any feedback.
