Leveling wall during remodel

I am currently remodeling our bathroom and working on leveling the first wall. The studs seem pretty out of whack. The first wall I am leveling consists of 9 studs. I really need some help. Thought I figured it out but now I am not sure. I set up a laser line 2“ off the bottom plate on both ends of the wall. The one corner stud protruded out the most (closest to laser). So I thought sister the corner stud and sister the rest to be level with that one. I sistered the corner stud so that it is level vertically. In doing so, top of the stud is flush with the top plate and protrudes out a little from the bottom plate. I checked different points on the sister stud and it read 1 11/16” each from the laser. So I figured if every other sister stud was level vertically and measured 1 11/16” from the laser then all studs would be level with one another. Well it didn’t work. Attached video shows it. Please, I would appreciate everyone’s help.

So I have all the studs on my long wall sistered. Obviously when choosing the sister stud method, the new studs do not go over the top & bottom plates. What is the best method to flush the top and bottom plate with the sister studs?
