Retro fit new surround to old tub
The old tub and surround system were designed to sit on top of each other at the lip of the top. I am having trouble figuring out how to put a new surround with this tub. There were pins between the top and the wallboards that kept the wallboards aligned to the top.
I could not find out any information on who made the original tub. Do you have a thought on that?
Could AJ channel help me?
The tub was painted before. I removed the old surround. Could I suggest just using AJ channel and then tiling? This client is very budget-conscious.

If the client is "budget conscious" they should have no problem doing it right the first time so it doesn't cost more down the road.
