Subfloor question for tile redi shower pan
I’m converting a combo bathtub/shower to standalone shower with a tile redi pan with the integrated flat bottom compression fitting drain system. My sub floor is below, I understand perfect flatness is needed and considering changing the entire subfloor a I need to relocate the drain and install the 2” trap and wanted it continuous if I do change the floor. What’s the best approach to removing this subfloor, if necessary. Should I just take out on the joists or try to get out all the subfloor from 2x4 edge to edge mild wet stains on the floor below the valve, but it seems pretty flat and solid

I would probably just open the floor, joist to joist, where I need to move plumbing. Use tabs (scraps of plywood) to join the sheets perpendicular to the joists (where the T&G has been removed). Screw it off well on the perimeter. Then self level, or flash with thinset to get it flat as possible. That OSB looks fine to me.
