Epoxy grout for polished marble

Hey folks. Quickly coming up on getting tile down, and though I’ll be using Ardex WA as my mortar, I’m now rethinking using Spectralock Pro Premium as the grout due to what I understand to be a high chance of scratching the polished finish. I was going to use those two products since that’s what I’ve seen Pasha use in his tutorials and videos on marble, but perhaps his examples have all been honed marble?

Curious if anyone has used SPP on polished marble, and if I should consider an alternative epoxy grout.

I’m thinking maybe Ardex WA as the grout as well since it’s not sanded and scratching shouldn’t be an issue? I’d be curious why he doesn’t use it that way though.

If it’s a mosaic I probably would be ok with using a sanded epoxy grout. Bigger tiles it might be easier to see small scratcheds.

It’s porobly worth a test mock up with your specific tile to see how it responds to the epoxy. Its difficult to break down the ratios of 3 part epoxy grout, but it can be done by weight. That way you don’t spend $120 on a mock up.
