I have a tub/shower alcove tile project coming up (diy for my home). I was thinking of using the Hydroban waterproofing liquid membrane to coat the concrete backer board.

I've already purchased this thinset from Home Depot. I was just wondering if this will be compatible with the Hydroban product when i coat over the thinset at the taped joints of the backer, and then of course the thinset over top of the membrane down the road.

Should I be alright, or should I purchase a different thinset if I want to use the Hydroban product?
