Movement joints
Kerdi membrane has been put up on the walls and ditra on the floor surrounding a freestanding tub. I keep reading that movement needs to be allowed between the wall and floor. Will caulking the joints work or do I need to use something like Schluter Dilex?

Yes, a caulking joint will work. I do not recommend Schluter Dilex, it is very cumbersome to use and doesn't look good in my opinion.
