I have a 3ft x6ft shower bed prepared for tile. The drain is centered.

It is level on the perimeter and therefore 1/4” per foot on the long sides and a bit steeper on the short sides.

I am planning hex tile (with a row of small rectangular tiles around the perimeter as a border).

The question:

Will 2” hex tiles be challenging here?

How about 3”?

I know that smaller tiles will conform to the slope more easily but I don’t really like the look of the very small hex.
