Shower Curb Sill/Threshold
Is a shower curb sill (threshold) installed prior to or after wall tile?
Is it only preference or a reason in terms of water containment a correct method/standard?

Wow, many, many thanks for the expert answer. I'm about to start tiling my shower and curb and was unsure about the sequence of operations but now completely understand. Hugely appreciate the details and the most excellent pictures!
