Dry pack
I've been working on this bathroom for a year now. Doing the dry pack yesterday was the first time that I really just wanted to quit.
I tried, but it's not smooth. Thankfully the slope is mostly in the right direction, but there are a few dips.
Is there anything that must be fixed, and how?
First photo is last night after I stopped and the second is today. Feels hard as a rock.

Short answer. Yes. You can grind things down, fill things with thinset, all those things. But sometimes it's just easier to take it out and restart.
