shower system

I have a bathroom to remodel. Old shower is a small fiberglass preform with glass sliding doors. Complete removal to the studs and subfloor(2nd story). My original plan was to use a Kerdi system with shower pan but now realized too much reconfiguring due to original placement of drain. Drain is about 4” off shower pan and Kerdi is 10”. So now I am leaning more towards Sentinel wallboard and thinset the banding over seams. I can get the 1/2” sentinel foam board in 4x8 sheets so only 2 corner seams and seams at curb and where wall meets floor. I would then have to vapor barrier subfloor and add metal lath then mud bed a floor. If I go that route, can I use a Flo FX flange or is it too close and would drain location need to be moved? Can I then HydoBan the entire floor and go up walls slightly to maintain waterproofing? What is the best way to build curb for frameless shower glass and door? I have seen bricks or wood with lots of thin set on outside of it!

I have watched lots of Isaac‘s videos and a little overwhelmed but confident with some tips I can finish the job right!

Thanks for any suggestions and insight. I tried to add a pic but couldn’t figure it out!
