Back fill gravel?

Hello. I am in the process of backfilling my box out around the drain where the shower will go and I am using the crushed paver base stone. I noticed inside the bag when I poured it into my bucket they are all clumped up and moist. Is ok to back fill it while it's moist from being in the bag or should I dry them out?

Also when I did my box out I noticed there wasn't any vapor barrier. So I'm assuming there isn't any barrier on the rest of the slab. Is this normal ? No sense in adding one to where my box out is if there isn't anywhere else under the slab.

Thanks

Also the picture of the pipes is before I glued. It was a dry fit when I took the photo

Looks great Carlos. Nice repair on the waste line. Not sure if you still have time, but the san tee should have a long sweep 90 on it since its laying horizontal. Propably wont be an issue but that is how code requires 90's that are laying flat. Either two 45's or long sweep 90's. If it's covered I wouldn't worry about it since a snake could get to it since its so close to the drain.

It doesnt matter if the gravel is wet.
