Anti-crack/de-coupling advice, recommendations, resources
Building a bathroom on a basement slab. Slab is 25 yrs old. Had two good sized cracks that were less than 1/4" at their widest along with several other hairline cracks, some with a slight opening. Going with a 12X24 porcelain tile floor. Sealed the larger cracks with epoxy, smaller with silicon for the sake of the self leveler.
I need to minimize the buildup for the transition from the hallway. I am working alone so I am enticed by the idea of a peel and stick. At the moment, my #1 candidate is Laticrete Fracture-Ban peel&stick, but cannot find any guidance on using the 40mil or the 90mil. They have a full floating version as well but again, can't find any guidance on full floating vs bonded (peel&stick or thinset).
I have read lots of articles but they all say the same thing basically- anti-crack and un-coupling membranes are two different things but some serve as both, and eventually say "choose the one you need" lol.
Looking for feedback on Fracture-Ban, peel&stick in particular experiences, alternate recommendations, and any truly good articles about choosing which type.
Thanks in advance to any input!

I only have experience with the schluter peel and stick. Here is a video on the installation
