Checking Shower Wand for Leaks?
Shower head stem, has enough room I can look to check there is no leak where the stem threads into the brass 90 el. The shower wand...there is no room to visually check. I'm going to see if I can fit a small mirror between the eschet...cover and hole but I doubt that will be possible. What do the pro's do? I may try shoving the corner of small/thin towel into the hole and see if it comes out dry. Only other thing I can think of is watching the water main dial with all known sources off...but yikes, if it is leaking bad enough to where I see that, I'm guessing I would hear or see it dripping out the hole.
I used the good blue monster teflon tape with pipe dope.

No leaks that I can see so I’m going to finish. I couldn’t get a towel or mirror wedged in close enough to get a good look at the hand wand wall connection. But, no drips coming off the stem.
