Tiling the toilet flange area
Have the flange secured above the tile vs. flush with the tile. Is it a preference thing or is one method better?

I've not had to use that product yet.
From my experience, we usually are moving toilets and fixtures. For Rough and final inspections, neither one would my inspector actually see the "flange".
We would have a pipe stubbed and capped for testing, but no flange, and the final, it would already be connected so he never sees the flange either .
I'll let you do the digging in, but Im interested in knowing why that one specifically is code and others are not.
