Wall flatness

Hello,

I noticed that my wall has a dip in the center horizontally by about a little over 1/8" and vertically by a little less than 1/8" (wall width is 59" and height is about 78") I recall when I had set the wall, and checked the level it didn't seem to have this issue, I have spent quite some time to shim out the studs and I wonder if it is because the hardie backer have settled (or perhaps its me, or the taping + the thinset on the inside corners added the extra thickness).

I am looking at instruction of custom blend LHT thinset instruction, "Ceramic tile <15” - 1/4 in. in 10 ft. (6 mm in 3 m) and no more than 1/16 in. in 1 ft. (1.6 mm in 0.3 m)" am I within the requirement of industry flatness and pitch? Will the thinset be able to cover for this difference or will I have to consciously pack less on the edges? And at the center, the tile level clips, it needs to sit against the back of the tile, not against the wall correct (silly question)?

Thanks,

Annie

Ok thank you both! I just spoke with a laticrete rep and he said multimax lite has 40 minutes of open time when tested under 70F, every 18 degrees higher the open time reduces by half (or doubles if its 18 degree less). He recommended to sponge the back of the tile so it is slightly moist before back buttering. And it is okay to add more water than what is suggested in the instruction in the first time mixing. I am going to try the multimax lite again.
