Grout problem
Hey folks,
Client asked today if I could address some uneven grout lines in the tile I just installed. The joints were 1/8” using polyblend unsanded grout on glass mosaic tiles. I used this grout because this was the color they wanted and since it was glass tile I didn’t want to risk scratching the glass by using sanded grout. I could have used epoxy but having never done epoxy before I didn’t want to practice with these clients. The grout lines have shrunk in places and not in others giving the finished grout depth an uneven appearance. I know regrouting is possible within a certain window but didn’t want to risk being outside of that window before proceeding. I grouted on or about the 10th of this month.
Being mosaic and glass I’m hesitant to try to dig out all my grout joints. If anyone has any suggestions please let me know.
‘Thanks,

Thanks Isaac. I’ve done a ton of remodel projects for this client over the years and know how discerning their eye is so finding small things isn’t unexpected. I like to make sure I always go the extra mile for them and that they’re satisfied when the project is done….and yes I charge accordingly 😉
