Pulling 12x24 tile off of wall after 24 hours?
When you pry a tile off a wall at the 24-hour mark, what would you expect? I had to pull 2 due to not having them in correct plane with tile on other side of a recessed opening.
One small tile had been on the wall for 48 hours, the full size tile was installed 24 hours prior to removal.
24 hour tile was pried off and when it popped free, the back of the tile was pretty clean. The thinset I had flat backed onto the tile stuck to the thinset on the wall. Is this Normal? I was expecting to have to scrape it off the wall and the tile. Tiles are porcelain, thinset is prolite 30. 1/2-inch trowel combed on wall and then just flat back on the tile.
I pulled off the 48 hour tile and the thinset came off both on the back of the tile and on the wall. Much more difficult to scrape off both the tile and the wall. No visible comb marks.

Thank you Isaac. Getting closer to being done.
