A few questions regarding half-bath
Hello, I'm in the midst of renovating my downstairs half-bath and I have a few questions that I'm hoping this community can help out with.
I am installing 8.5" wide porcelain hexagonal tile in a bathroom that is 5.58ft x 6ft.
The middle of my floor has a bit of a high spot. It's roughly 1/8" gap over 4ft. I've attached a picture. Is this something that I need to be concerned about?
The adjacent flooring outside the bathroom is just a smidge smaller than 3/4" hardwood floor, it's closer to 17 or 18mm. Would DitraXL rather than Ditra be the underlayment of choice in ensuring a flush transition to the adjacent hardwood? I believe that this should work but just thought to confirm. Previously there was 1/4" Wonderboard when I pulled up the previous tile but it seems that many recommend DitraXL.
Given the conditions of the floor, would you advise priming the floor using Primer U before applying mortar or would the prevailing opinion be that it's not necessary here?

Thank you for the response, Isaac!
