Having watched many, if not all, of your videos, there are clearly an infinite amount of combinations of products to create the best shower/bathroom with today's product options. I have done multiple showers the standard way (liner/drypack) so trying to narrow down for the next 2 projects coming up. If you were to do your own shower/bathroom over wood floor, what is the best combination of products to use with quality trumping cost/time:

Shower Base and curb: RSS, Schluter, drypack with membrane, cast iron, etc

Walls: kerdi board, cement board with membrane, RSS board, etc. Seems you suggest floating the walls alot, what would be the next best assuming plumb walls?

Floor Heat: Schluter, other

tile size on floor: bigger format, mosaic, other

Drain: Schluter Linear, or other ( I know you suggest flo fx for standard)
