Purple Drywall or Foamboard for wall around tub?
About to close up the wall around the freestanding bathtub. Question is since I'm planning to tile to wall around the tub what material should I use? The wall does come right up to the bottom of the windows of the alcove so using something besides drywall means I'd need to change the trim around the windows. So just use purple drywall and use some waterproof seam tape to waterproof the seam between the ditra and the purple drywall?
