Trimming Shower Niche With Jolly Profile - Grout Line
When using a Schluter Jolly profile to trim a shower niche, do you match the grout line from the rest of the tile install to the perimieter around the Jolly trim?
For instance, if your wall tiles all have a 1/8" grout line, should you try to have that same width of grout line between the outer edges of the Jolly trim and the adjoining tiles?
Most of the videos and photos I have seen appear to be a bit subjective. They use wedge spacers to get an aesthetically pleasing grout line which seems to be smaller than what is used for the rest of the tiles.

You got it, make it pleasing to the eye.
My grout spacing around niches is usually smaller than the field tile.
My partner tries to match the spacing of the field tile.
It's installer preference. Whatever works best to your eye.
