Help me build my tiny bathroom!

Hi All, I've posted about my bathroom remodel before, but today because i passed my plumbing inspection, things are going to get serious. Plan is to add a 3x5 curbless shower, and wallmount all fixtures due to space constraints. For context, i am a home owner and this is my first time.

I am going to post photos as i go, and hopefully i can get some tips from the good folks at tilecoach.

Here's the small bathroom 5x6 feet. Before photo.

After I gutted. You can see knob and tube wires along with what the subfloor looked like. The window i have decided to keep in place but replace with tempered glass, more on that later.

This is what it looks like now. I added framing for the WC.

I then added a vent and did the electrical.

Here I had to get some help from a plumber as I could not take on the 4" stack myself.

Then I installed a pocket door by Cavity Slider. I trimmed down and reused the old door to save some money lol. btw this system is nice!

Then I did the hot and cold water lines..

Okay, i had originally wanted to used revolutionary shower systems for the shower, but then switched to TileRedi thanks to Isaacs Youtube video. Because i wanted curbless and a 1" end profile, Tileredi had only one 3x5 option. It appears solid, but dusty like it just came out of the factory.

My floor is leveled and i added some support framing for the tile redi pan around the drain. They call for a 6-7" hole which i thought was very big, but made sense once i saw the pan.

Luckily i have access to the crawspace, so i will glue the 2" drain from below.

And fortunately it fits nicely, but i will still need to fur out the wall....

I plan on using 12x24 slate for the shower and bathroom floor. I plan on using 1/4" thick Ditra-Heat without the heating cable for uncoupling membrane.

There will be a little more than 1/4" lip at the door, which i'm okay with....

That's where i am now.

I plan on using permabase cement board and the tileredi flash. I plan on using liquid membrane for the permabase. The window area is a concern.

How should I waterproof the transition from shower to bathroom floor? I am thinking thinset/membrane then liquid membrane the floor.

I love to hear your thoughts.

Very nice. Looks great. Calming. Herringbone is a difficult install..
