Had an issue with tile tenting in my basement, I ended up removing all tiles that had a hollow sounding section as reccomended in a previous question (https://www.tilecoach.com/forum/questions-answers/tile-repair-thinset-under-adjacent-tiles-sounds-hollow) . It ended up being more tiles than expected, but took my time removing all the old mortar and the floor is finally ready for the next steps.

There's a long shallow crack running along the path of the tenting, should I use redguard for crack isolation in this case? Or is there a better approach for this? In some spots of the crack it looks like it's been patched previously (see last picture).

There were a few spots where the tile and mortar came up and I could see grey paint directly on the floor, the original tiles were installed onto this paint. I'm wondering if that paint was some kind of waterproofing or just paint.

I plan to use flexbond directly on the concrete floor.
