Bench Construction
Hey Isaac, I saw the bench you made in the video from Sept 6th. I'm working on a remodel, and considering using the RSS wallboard, with a bench. Can you tell me about the bench construction, and how you plan to waterproof it? In the image below, it doesn't look like any waterproofing has been applied yet. I assume the bench is a wood frame like many others you have made. I saw some of the flood test failure videos, and thought it might have changed your construction methods. Thanks!

Actually the bench is a solid block of foam (one of the reasons I like it better than Schluter). It is already waterproofed with fleece and sloped for drainage. When you order from RSS, just tell him the size of the bench you will need and he will make it what ever size you want!
