I’m doing some tile repair on a tub surround wall. The original installation, 1995, used the incorrect adhesive and with daily use the last couple years tge adhesIve is fail in areas. the cement board backer is drying prior to me adding some water proofing. What moisture level is ok to apply waterproofing too? I’m just using red gaurd on this. It’s meant to last a year or two before doing a limited remodel. Currently the cement board is sitting at 13-16%
