Moving on to the Master!

My tenative plan around the shower door is to fully tile the shower walls bringing the tile edge out to a quartz trim that frames the entire shower door. The tile would stop there at the quartz trim edge.

The glass hinges are mid position in this roughly 6" wide quartz trim.

My question is this:

Do you think that the drywall just outside this quartz trim is water safe? It will be drywall/plaster/paint.

I've noticed that commonly the tiling extends out and past the door frame which would of course add some additional water protection around the outside of the door.

I dont really want to do that here because it's not going to be consistant with the quartz trim constituting the tile edge trim as it were.
