Question on final dry pack
Building my first shower pan. Used Mapei 4:1 and schluter guides ( i cut the 2 inch guides and used a level to get the proper slope from flange. thank you for the idea ) to get a pretty good slope. It is a long shower pan 8 x 3. My question is after applying the Oatey pvc water membrane can I use the Schluter guides ( glued on the inside of water membrane and leave them in ) when I build my final dry pack? Or how do you use guides on this step? The guides made it really nice with the 7.5 foot screed job. My drain is on one end of the pan. Thank you.
