Tile Removal over durock

I'm looking for recommendations to remove tile placed over durock. This bathroom floor is over a crawlspace. ~20 years ago, when I installed this floor, I put down durock cement backer board screwing it to the subfloor - lots of screws.

We are now completely remodeling this bathroom - new vanity, new floor, (new shower - separate query). I am thinking that I need to pull up the tile and also remove the backer board to get to the sub floor. I this a correct assumption?

I have a multi-tool with some diamond cutter heads. Is this a good tool to remove the grout?

Any suggestions on prying up the tile and exposing the screw heads?

Yes no need to remove the grout. Hit it with a hammer !!!
