Schluter Jolly Profile

I will be installing two Schluter Jolly profiles vertically to trim out the left and right side of my shower walls.

Do these profiles have to be set in thinset or can they be screwed to the wall?

There is no way that I will be fast enough to thinset an entire wall and embed the entire length of the provile in thinset.

So, there is really no concern regarding the thickness of thinset under the profile, correct? Meaning if I fully embed it in thinset for the first two rows of tiles and then later on as I work my way up the wall the thinset would get pushed in from the top. I could bend it a little bit and get thinset under it, but once I'm close to the halfway point that would no longer work.

Conversly, is there any issue to just stapling it down in the first place? It's outside of the shower door so water is really not an issue.
