How to put down membrane in the farthest corner
My helper broke a collar bone over the weekend, so I am on my own for the next task: installing the FloFX membrane on the shower floor. I have a general idea, but I'd like someone(s) to sanity check and/or give me pointers. My plan:
(1) Cut membrane and dry-fit (including two or more inches up the walls).
(2) Get in the shower (on top of the membrane, gently), roll up part of the membrane.
Do I start with the long end, the short end, or the far corner (under the bench)?
Do I roll up only the part I can't reach from outside the shower? or all of the part I can reach while inside the shower?
(3) Apply thinset to the floor in the rolled up section.
(4) Unroll the membrane, press in place, work out the bubbles.
(5) Continue with the rest from outside the shower.
Will this work to get the membrane down evenly without wrinkles or air bubbles.

Thanks again, Larry. It it so helpful to have this forum. I would never have had the confidence to do this project without it. :-)
