Tile redi drain
Recently installed custom tile redi pan with compression drain.Performed overnight flood test and now notice rust on drain treads.Tile redi is saying this is normal.Should I be concerned?

A cast iron skillet will rust if left wet so I'm not surprised that the bare metal threads have some rust on them after being submerged.
I'm surprised they didn't coat the threads with some protective paint though. I get my Tile Redi pan tomorrow so I'll inspect the threads in mine.
