Testing your floor heat
I have a 250sq ft floor and shower.. heated.
The floor is done for 10 days now.. I'm waiting on the granite company to install these 3cm slabs on the wall. THEN I will tile the shower floor
I have ditra in the shower, it's been thinset, sheet membrane, and hydroban. (Cured 10 days).
The cable is mortared and covered, but no tile
Can I test this floor heat without the shower tile in place? .

Yes. Fire it up! You'll feel it for sure. But if the cable tests out a good ohm reading, that means it will work.
