Plumbing / Pex / Concrete Questions
Not exactly a tiling question, but y'all are smart (yes, that's an Oklahoma accent). I ripped out old jacuzzi tube and the cabinet that encased it. I have to move the drain and water supply for freestanding tub and filler. A pain in the backside, but not really difficult. Have the floor jackhammer out (cheap rotary hammer worked great). So the question is this: after I finish routing the pex lines I have to pour concrete into the existing hole and the runways I created for the drain and supply lines. Do I need to do something to protect the pex lines and fittings from concrete or are they ok if they get covered? Should I bury them in gravel and sand, or put some kind of protective cover or some other trick? I appreciate your thoughts and expertise.

That's a great idea. That's what I'm gonna do. Thanks Larry
