Wavy Tile

What is your preferred method to trim these new 3d Wavy tiles.?

I've mitered outside corners, matching the waves is a huge pain.

I've used Schluter, which leaves a wavy grout line where the tile dips.

Inside corners you can only "touch the tips" of the waves, or the wave lines don't match up.

Shower valves won't sit flat on the wall with the 3d waves holing it out.

ton of waste matching waves when making cuts.

Just curious how you all are dealing with these tiles. Here is one example

We typically just use wavy tiles as a feature wall and different tile on the sides.

Porcleanosa was the first manufacturer to come out with the wavy tiles back in 2010 ish. They always had a coordinating flat tile that matched the wavy so we would do the sidewalls with that.

But now it’s common to do feature walls with a completely different contrast tile on the sides, so that’s how we treat it now.
