Curbless shower transition - how to taper tile to drain
I want to duplicate this transition as shown in the TileCoach video from bathroom floor to shower. I intend to use DITRA Heat decoupling on both the bathroom floor and in the shower. Should I use the ditra heat (not the cable just the membrane) behind the small taper cut vertical tiles? The picture is one concept (not to scale) without the ditra heat behind the vertical taper cut tiles. Any thoughts on how do do this the best way would be appreciated. There is no need to put DH membrane on the vertical unless your are using it to secure the cable. Your drawing looks correct.
