What’s the best grout color from a maintenance standpoint in a shower?
We are installing 3x6 Glossy white subway tiles in our shower and are planning to use SPECTRALOCK 1 for the grout. I’m trying to decide on the best grout color to use that will look nice with white tiles and maintain its color over time.
I was going to go with black but it’s my understanding it’s difficult to apply, fades unevenly over time (based on where the water hits), and highlights mistakes.
It’s my understanding that white will hide mistakes but is difficult to keep clean and darkens over time.
Is grey the answer or does it not really matter?
Any recommendations?

Light gray or beige seems to be the easiest to maintain.
