deck mud and putting down membrane on large shower
thanks for all the previous answers......ready to float the floor and put down the sheet membrane. It is a 5 x 6 showers and am wondering if there are any tips/tricks for doing such a large floor? once I work my way from back to front I won't be able to get back to the back part of the floor. and when I place the membrane, wondering if I should place half of the thinset down, lay down the membrane, then do the rest as i can work my way out of the shower.......i created a similar post, but didn't see it appear, so if it does, this is just a copy!

You can do the float in 2 sections if needed, just make sure to use thinset to bond the old and new mud.
