Curbless shower tile selection and tips

I have a curbless shower that I've done the shower pan for and is a bowl shape. It is level with the concrete floor of the bathroom. My plan is to tile with one pattern across the whole floor then place a frameless shower glass panel for a side of the shower. I wanted to know any tips on pattern designs and placement for the tile. Smaller pattern I assume would be easier to place in the sloped area. Should I keep it the same, or is it better to do two different patterns between the bathroom floor and shower floor? I am interested in a herringbone pattern for the floor. Would this be a good idea?

I would go no larger than a 2x2 tile in a "bowl".

Herringbone is very labor intensive, and math oriented. Layout is a huge deal. Bigger than normal.

Once you get your pattern to the shower, you will need a grout line at the start of the bowl to begin the slope

Here's the thing. Unless it's a tiny tile, you need to do an "envelope cut" on the shower flower. Herringbone + envelope cut = a nightmare that I'm not sure even I (who does this every day) could pull that off. Very tough and exact.

Since you already have a "bowl" shape, your concrete pan isn't quite set up for that type of cut.
