FloFX Drain to Pipe Connection Gap (ABS Filler?)

I recently installed a FloFX drain for a pan replacement and used a dry-pack mortar bed. I went to dry fit the drain cover for tiling and noticed that there is about a 1/8" gap between the FloFX drain and the down pipe on one side. I believe what happened is that the pipe was cut uneven (from the original install) and I missed it before cementing the new drain in. I got good coverage with my cementing, I'm not necessarily worried about that - I don't think it'll leak. I'm more concerned about stagnant water getting in there and having an adverse effect on the connection. Is there any way to pack that or seal that gap up? On a quick search I came up with epoxy, caulking, filling it with straight up ABS cement or using something like Flex Seal. Just want to get a different perspective on it, or see if someone has dealt with something like this in the past? I'll try to snap a picture of it and upload later. Thanks all!!

Sorry for the late reply, for some reason I was not getting my notifications. I wouldn't mess with it, the water wont affect the ABS cement
