Pex with Delta valve housing.
Hello all, been a while since I posted... retired and all but doing a favor so back in the game.. two issues: the Delta valve housings have threaded input/output connectors. For some reason when I buy the pex fittings to screw on they only go a few threads ( maybe half way) and then get very hard to screw the rest of the way. Then sometimes they leak during the test. Of course I use tape. Any one know why?
Also If I get the pex fittings that fit inside the outlet/inlets they seem a bit loose. Anyone else notice this? Thanks.

After seeing all 3 connections drip I have nightmares about sealing up the wall…. So I just got the male connectors and soldiered them. Now I can Sleep at night.
