Where does the water go?
I believe it’s accurate to say that a certain amount of moisture will wick through grout and perhaps tile. With tile over Kerdi Board, or any backer board, what actually happens to this moisture and would mold grow behind the tile?

Evaporation eventually. But every tile job I have torn apart has moisture under the tile.
