Drain pipe height
Hi I am new to this forum and a beginner DIY'er but not a young one. My grand children call me PIPA. I will be using a kerdi pan with flo fx drain on a concrete floor. I poured floor leveler to make sure I have a flat surface. How can I determine how high the drain pipe should be from the top of the kerdi opening to have a snug fit.
At the moment I have about a 6" opening around the drain pipe to be able to get my hands in there to add or detract from the drain pipe. When I get all my adjustments correct, How should I proceed to to seal up the opening ? sand? Gravel? concrete topper how thick?
