FloFX Drain Body & RSS Pro Pan - Flush?
Hello all. In cutting my drain pipe (ABS to CI via a no-hub coupling) in order to get the drain to sit flush, I'm assuming that when I apply the thinset to the RSS pan drain recess as well as the back of the FloFX drain body, I should glue it down so that it's flush with the top of the pan, correct?
The images show what it looks like just dry fitted. I messed around with the length of the drain pipe so that it's just about flush when dry fit. I trimmed the pipe about an 1/8" more just in case so that I have a little wiggle room to push it further down if I need to.
The FloFX drain body has to be flush with the top of the pan, right? The recess is quite deep and if I assumed 1/8" of thinset thickness, it would be recessed instead of flush.

Yes I like that method. You could probably just use thinset but the sealant adds a water stop which is nice.
